Limits & Formats

Max file size: 200MB. Supports GIF, images (PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, HEIF/HEIC), and videos (MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM).

Pro Tip: Use WebP for smallest images, reduce FPS and colors in GIFs, and prefer higher CRF for smaller videos.

Frequently Asked Questions

What file types can I upload?

GIF, images (PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, HEIF/HEIC), and videos (MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM). Archives (e.g., ZIP) extract supported files automatically.

How do I get the smallest file size?

Use resize with smaller dimensions. For GIFs, reduce FPS and colors. For images, prefer WebP. For videos, increase CRF and use a slower preset.

Are my files stored permanently?

No. Files are processed and stored temporarily for your session. Old temp directories and uploads are cleaned regularly.

Why don’t I see some controls?

Controls are context-aware. Only relevant settings for your uploaded file type are shown (GIF, image, or video).

Upload fails or preview doesn’t load?

Check file size (max 200MB), try another format, or reload the page. If it persists, clear session and retry.

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure your file is below 200MB.
  • For HEIF/HEIC, conversion happens automatically during processing.
  • For videos, extremely high resolutions may be auto-downscaled for performance.
  • Try different browsers if previews don’t render correctly.
